| Who We Are |
Who We Are: Diamond Willow Ministries (DWM) is a 501c3 non-profit Christian relief organization (all contributions to this ministry are tax deductible) comprised of members brought together by a common vision. God has worked in wonderful ways to bring together our varied group of individuals, who are compelled to love and serve here with our unique talents. We are comprised of Dakota, Lakota, and non-Indians, most of whom work and live here on the Crow Creek Reservation. We however, are only one part of the DWM team. The great things happening here are also the result of those from around the world who see the need, share the vision, and contribute through giving financially and through prayer.
Larry Brink, DWM Director
Larry lives nearby the reservation in Huron, SD. He makes regular trips to DWM to lend his varied expertise in assisting with the Curly Horses among other things.
Tim Gerber, DWM Treasurer
Tim has led many work groups to DWM from his home church of Kingsway Christian in Indianapolis, IN. He manages a company called Flavor Burst. Tim's business skills, organization, and care for the youth in particular make him a valuable asset.
Gail Griner, DWM Financial and Administrative Director
Gail, originally from Brownsburg, IN, moved to Fort Thomspon in the spring of 2008, and lives in the onsite housing duplex on the DWM property. Being a CPA by trade she lends much experience as staff at DWM in financial and administrative capacities.

Ken, along with his wife Sharon live in the onsite housing duplex on the DWM property. Having a wealth of experience as missionaries abroad as well as stateside, they provide a much needed helping hand at DWM.

Rod Vaughn, DWM Executive Director | Valerie Vaughn, DWM Co-Founder
Rod's "calling" and passion are for God, his family, and the Dakota/Lakota people of his community. Rod, as of February 2007, is a fulltime employee of DWM. Valerie, wife of Rod, is kept very busy with their four children (Aaron 17, Hannah 15, Tim 12, Rachel 10) whom she also homeschools. She is diligently learning the Dakota language. Her musical abilities are in continuous use, as she plays the piano for the singing at many gatherings and events.

In February 2010 Tod retired from truck driving to work as a full-time volunteer for DWM. He has a real heart for the youth, spending his time extensively with the teens. He also works closely with youth through the DWM horse program.
